Mattress licensing group Therapedic International is offering brick-and-mortar retailers a retail support kit to jump-start their store reopenings. The kit contains three promotional programs for discounted sleep sets supported by marketing tools. These include print and digital assets for customizable ads and e-blasts, store signage and social media graphics.
The Helping Hand Sleep Sale promotion is focused on the importance of sleep as part of healthy living and overall wellness. The sale’s theme is focused on the importance of nutrition, exercise and sleep. It also can be accompanied by TV and radio spots.
The Fresh Start Sleep Sale promotion follows has a starting-over theme, which can be tied to coming out of a COVID-19 quarantine — or the change of seasons.
The third promotion is a 0% interest offer addressing the financial impacts felt by so many consumers because of the pandemic.
“We believe the best way to support our retail partners is to deliver actionable ideas and resources at a time that they need it most,” said Gerry Borreggine, Therapedic chief executive officer. “As areas of the country embark on reopening, the weeks ahead will see some bright spots as well as some continued or different challenges.
“Our country’s unemployment rate shot from under 4% to over 14% in two months and that is a very real issue that we have to (confront) head-on to make sales during this time, while helping people get a better mattress and better sleep.”
