Malouf Names Warehouse Managers For New Facility

Malouf has tapped two warehouse managers, Marsha Cooper and Marcos Herrera, for its new facility in Delano, California. The Logan, Utah-based sleep products and home furnishings supplier acquired the warehouse in June. The site gives the company an additional 1.2 million square feet of warehouse space and is slated to open in early 2021, following maintenance updates and other improvements.

Cooper has more than 25 years of experience. She spent the majority of her career with Sears Logistics, beginning as an associate and working her way up to senior manager of operations.

Herrera’s background includes more than 20 years in logistics operations, as well as strong experience in inventory control and order fulfillment.

“Marsha and Marcos bring a lot of value to our team, and we’re thrilled to have them,” said Ryan Egbert, Malouf national director of distribution. “Their extensive experience in the logistics field will help us expedite the shipping process for our retail partners so we can continue exceeding their expectations.”

In preparation for the facility opening, Cooper and Herrera are focused on staffing needs and training employees on products, product handling, safety protocols and receiving, processing and shipping orders.
