Purple Adds Third Manufacturing Plant

Purple Innovation Inc., producer of the Purple brand, is adding manufacturing on the East Coast. Headquartered in Lehi, Utah, the company has two manufacturing plants in Alpine, Utah, and Grantsville, Utah, nearly covering 670,000 square feet total. The new plant is in Blacksville, Georgia, and adds 520,000 square feet to the company’s manufacturing capacity.

“We are proud to be a U.S. manufacturer,” said Joe Megibow, Purple Mattress chief executive officer. “During these challenging times, we feel especially proud that we are able to invest in significantly expanding our manufacturing and production capacity domestically, creating many new jobs in the process.”

The Georgia site was selected after an extensive search process to find the right location and state partner, according to a news release.
