Rize Adds Upholstered Beds

Rize, a division of Mantua Manufacturing Co., expanded its array of offerings at the `April Las Vegas Market with four easy-to-ship, stylish upholstered beds that combine an upholstered headboard and side rails with a slatted, platform base.

The new products from the Cleveland, Ohio-based company are available in queen, king and California king sizes and in three popular neutral colors — beige, charcoal gray and stone mist. They have split side rail construction allowing all pieces — headboard, foot board, side rails and support slats — to be packaged in a single box. Retail price points begin at $279 for a queen bed.

“We spent a lot of time developing the right overall experience,” said Rick Sterzer, Rize executive vice president at Rize. “The beds need to be attractive and comfortable, but also compact enough to ship easily – and at a competitive price point. We’re happy to announce that we found beds that combine all of these elements so that they’re a perfect fit for any showroom floor.”

The beds are built to last, the company said, and have an intelligent design allowing for easy assembly.

Mantua Manufacturing is a 70-year-old, family-owned company that began as a metal bed frame manufacturer. It has since expanded its offerings to include other steel bed support options, adjustable beds, furniture, mattresses, pillows and mattress protectors. It continues to manufacture metal bed frames in Cleveland and in Houston.
