Purple Innovation Inc., with headquarters in Lehi, Utah, has named Michael Breus to the new position chief sleep advisor. Breus, known familiarly in the sleep products industry as Dr. Breus, is a clinical psychologist and both a diplomate of the American Board of Sleep Medicine and a fellow of the American Academy of Sleep Medicine.
Breus works closely with Purple’s research and development team on conducting sleep studies that inform product development and innovation, and on the creation and testing of new products.
“Purple’s hyper-elastic polymer is like nothing I have seen in all my years as a sleep researcher and clinician,” Breus said. “Mattresses and pillows are the two most influential products on sleep, period. Our science will show that integrating the Purple Grid into these products is a true innovation in comfort, support and sleep itself.”
