(Alexandria, VA) – The International Sleep Products Association, the trade association representing mattress manufacturers and component suppliers, has promoted Beth English to editorial director for BedTimes and Sleep Savvy magazines. In her new role, she is responsible for developing the strategic priorities and editorial direction of both publications. English joined the ISPA team in 2014 as managing editor and previously served as associate director, Editorial Services for The University of North Carolina at Greensboro.

“In her new role, Beth will bring a wealth of fresh ideas and forward thinking to the magazines,” noted ISPA Vice President of Marketing and Communications, Mary Helen Rogers. “Her considerable skill and knowledge will take our magazines in new and exciting directions.”

With experience in communications, editing and publishing at a variety of outlets that have included magazines, newspapers, a university, and a public school system, English will develop the strategic priorities and editorial direction for the ISPA publications.

“I’m honored and excited to lead the editorial team,” English said. “We have an incredible staff, and I know we will uncover new opportunities for both BedTimes and Sleep Savvy.”
