Retail partners, manufacturers, suppliers and industry leaders attended the Oct. 26 grand opening and ribbon cutting of Bedding Industries of America West’s new 90,000-square-foot manufacturing facility and showroom.
Located in Rialto, California, the multimillion-dollar facility will manufacture mattresses under Eclipse, Saatva, Eastman House, Millbrook Beds, Natural Dreams Pure Talalay brands, as well as others from the company’s portfolio. The added capacity will enable the company to meet the growing needs of both existing and new customers.
“This is an exciting time for our company as we continue to expand our reach across the country, as well as making it easier for our international customers and licensees to visit us on the West Coast,” said Stuart Carlitz, president and chief executive officer of Bedding Industries of America and Eclipse International, based in North Brunswick, New Jersey. “I am thankful for our leadership team and employees for the work in getting this plant ready and operational, as well as to the local and state government officials who have welcomed us into the community.”
In addition to the grand opening, Eclipse International launched a new Eastman House collection that will be offered initially to California retailers. The 20-model lineup features alternative sustainable filling materials and names inspired by California including Catalina, Bel Air and Malibu.
The well-attended ribbon cutting was followed by a cocktail reception and factory tours.
