Blu Sleep Products, a specialty sleep manufacturer with headquarters in Laval, Quebec, and U.S. operations in Pompano Beach, Florida, has added Marc de Grave to its team as executive vice president.

De Grave has more than 15 years of experience in the bedding and furniture industries, as well as many years of experience in industrial manufacturing and distribution for multinationals. In one of his recent positions, he was instrumental in establishing and growing several key channels of distribution and maintaining a No. 1 market share position for his brands in those channels, according to a news release from Blu Sleep.

“After a comprehensive executive search, we are very pleased to name a proven leader and highly qualified individual of Marc’s caliber to be the Blu Team,” the company said in the news release. “Marc is a well-respected industry executive with a winning track record. He has a solid history of building strategic relationships with retailers and in various other channels and a proven ability to develop high-performance teams. We are confident that his expertise in these key areas will add significant value to our retail partners and Blu.”

De Grave said: “Blu Sleep is an outstanding company with great innovative products, vision and leadership. For years, I have been very impressed with Alex’s (Ciccolella) and Elizabeth’s (Dell’Accio) focus on building strong brands, their passion and the relationships they have developed with retailers based on vision and value.”
