Independent producer Bowles Mattress Co., based in Jefferson, Indiana, chose Samantha Madrid to be its sales/education coordinator, a new position for the company.
Madrid assists Bowles retail partners with coordinated sales and education materials. She reports to Scott Armstrong, president.
“Samantha fills a vital role in our growth strategy by working directly with our network of Bowles retailers,” Armstrong said. “She will be a key contributor in facilitating our retail sales certification program and education efforts in-store. Samantha’s focus will be developing strategies, metrics and meaningful sales programs to assist the growing Bowles retail sales team members.”
Madrid has held positions as general manager and manager for more than 10 years in the office supply industry.
“Samantha has demonstrated a high energy and skill level in her past roles with retail sales teams to achieve increased and measurable results,” Armstrong added.
Madrid also works with existing Bowles retailers including the network of dedicated Bowles factory-direct stores in Louisville and southern Indiana.
