Motion base specialist Ergomotion, headquartered in Santa Barbara, California, has named Cort Corwin its new director of product innovation and development.
Corwin manages the product development process from new product innovation to completion of production for all new product launches. Specifically, Corwin is responsible for driving Ergomotion’s 2025 innovation roadmap, which will explore the future of sleep.
“I hope to contribute to the legacy of innovation at Ergomotion through the development of an agile and sustainable new product development cycle,” Corwin said. “Ergomotion has been a pioneer in the adjustable bed base category. … I’m excited for the opportunity to continue building on this history of innovation with groundbreaking products that will disrupt our industry to the benefit of consumers.”
Corwin has 20 years of experience in advanced product development in the automotive and home appliance sectors. In his most recent role at GHSP, he led the concept and development of several home appliance innovations, including visual induction technology. Corwin also led a product development team for the world’s first mass production carbon fiber bumper beam for the new C8 Corvette.
