Blu Sleep Focuses on Strategic Growth with Team Expansion

Blu Sleep Products, a specialty sleep manufacturer with headquarters in Laval, Quebec, and U.S. operations in Pompano Beach, Florida, has added two new positions: a business development/sales support role and a supply chain and traffic specialist.

“We are growing our team to further benefit our customers,” said Elizabeth Dell’Accio, president. “The key is to continue providing the best service our customers expect from us.”

The company has enlisted Stefanie Raccugliain the new business development/sales support role. The position will tie together all of Blu Sleep’s departments, helping to further expand and improve sales and sales support, while also increasing brand awareness.

Raccuglia will help affect change and promote growth across departments by building important relationships. She will be an integral part of the sales team, networking with prospective partners, courting potential customers, connecting with clients, generating leads and being responsible for key accounts.

She will also investigate channel expansion as Blu Sleep continues to grow its OEM business. Raccuglia will have input in marketing efforts, as marketing is a vital element to Blu Sleep. She will work closely with the marketing team to develop campaigns that solidify the company’s target audience and reach new customers.

Eric Johnston will serve as supply chain and traffic specialist. With more than 25 years of experience in traffic/shipping/warehouse management, Johnston will develop and monitor the company’s supply chain strategy, improve productivity and efficiency, and reduce costs while ensuring high-quality service.

Johnston will also analyze data from shipping and delivery processes to ensure operations run smoothly as Blu Sleep continues to grow amid all the current logistical challenges. A key element will be staying on top of inventory levels, as freight has become an inexact science, according to the news release.

Both roles will report to Marc de Grave, executive vice president. “The Blu Sleep team is pleased to have added these two key players to the roster as they will help Blu Sleep reach the next level in its continued global growth,” de Grave said. “The fact that both come from outside the industry clearly demonstrates Blu’s wish to think outside the box, and this will also help us as we look to continuously improve our market strategy.”
