ISPA Board Announces Board of Trustee Election Results

NEWS RELEASE

(ALEXANDRIA, VA) – The International Sleep Products Association (ISPA) announces the results of the 2023 Board of Trustees election. Six new Trustees will serve their first two-year term and five Trustees have been re-elected to serve another two-year term. 
 
Re-elected Trustees are Johan Cleyman, Innofa USA LLC; Harold Earley, FXI; Michael Faus, Carpenter Co.; Allen Platek, Tempur Sealy International; Brad Rogers, Ashley Furniture Industries; and Richard Skorpenske, Covestro. At the ISPA Board of Trustees meeting in March, the Board welcomed the following newly elected Trustees: Karyn Bahls, Serta Simmons Bedding; David Binke, King Koil; Magali Castillo, E.S. Kluft & Co.; Adam Lava, A Lava; and Don Wright, Wright Creative Branding & Labels. 
 
“As an industry veteran, I look forward to contributing to the great work ISPA is doing and
engaging with fellow Board members and ISPA leadership to advance the industry. My
company has long valued the work and products ISPA delivers, and it’s a privilege to
serve on its Board,” said David Binke of King Koil. 
 
Departing the Board is Kim Cobb of Wright Creative Branding & Labels, who will also be
retiring from the industry in 2023 after a 35-year career in the bedding sector. “It has been
a distinct pleasure and honor to serve on the ISPA Board of Trustees for the past six
years. My Board experience provided me with an opportunity to contribute, learn and
move the industry forward. I truly appreciate the talent, dedication, and due diligence of
the ISPA staff and Board members who work tirelessly with great purpose to help us all
achieve better sleep,” Cobb said. 
 
“The invaluable time and input that ISPA’s Trustees provide the Association guide our work on
behalf of the mattress industry,” said ISPA President Ryan Trainer. “ISPA’s Board represents a
broad cross section of experienced industry professionals who are dedicated to helping this
industry prosper. We thank them for their service and commitment to the common good.”
