AEC Narrow Fabrics has appointed Jeff Crisco as president of Asheboro Elastic Corporation (AEC Narrow Fabrics), effective immediately. Meanwhile, Charles Adams, CEO, plans to retire at the end of 2024. He will retire after 10 years of dedicated service and leadership.

Over the coming year, Adams will work closely with Crisco to ensure a smooth transition, company officials said. He will also provide support as a strategic advisor following his retirement.

Crisco began his career at AEC in 1994 and most recently held the position of vice president. During that time, he cultivated long-term relationships within the many industries that AEC serves, spanning from interpersonal client-based connections to those with vendors and industry counterparts, according to a news release.

Those networks helped shape the path for success and sustainability of the Asheboro, North Carolina-based company. As president, Crisco is responsible for overall strategy and direction.

“AEC has been a staple in Asheboro, North Carolina, and greater Randolph County since 1986,” Crisco said. “We boast long-term employee retentions and are pleased that we have established such a loyal customer base. I am honored to be named president and look forward to the continued path toward growth and excellence, locally and abroad. AEC is poised for a great future.”
