High Point, N.C. Mid-priced motion upholstery specialist Luxfort Home is continuing to introduce new design and product innovations and unexpected functional features in the upholstered seating and upholstered bed categories for the Fall HPMKT.

Creating new sales and profit opportunities for retailers, the company has developed three new product categories in upholstered beds and seating for the furniture industry with added-value features. “Our innovations offer comfort, convenience, well-being and productivity benefits to today’s lifestyles,” said Lee Boone, president. “We feature best-selling styles, fashionable covers and life-enhancing functionality to enhance both relaxation and productivity,” he said. Here is an overview of the three key categories and what’s new for Fall HPMKT:

CloudPower Motion Sofas and Sectionals

Featuring extra-deep, super-soft pillow-top seating in dual-power motion sectionals and sofas with zero-wall clearance and stationary looks, Luxfort is introducing 5 sofa styles and 3 new sectionals. “The new styles will feature deep-seating sectionals, include one silhouette covered in a corduroy-like fabric with heavy vertical channeling covering the backs and seats.

Power Beds

Combine top-selling upholstered bed profiles with an array of functions, including power motion headrests, fold-out consoles with cupholders and power controls, reading lights and wireless charging flexible phone/tablet holders. The beds, which ship with matching upholstered footboards and bedrails and 14-slat mattress foundations, also include Bluetooth audio systems to sync with devices to provide surround sound. At the Fall HPMKT, Luxfort Home will introduce 4 new Power Beds in casual contemporary styles with a “fashionable and luxurious look to appeal to female consumers,” Boone said. Available in retailers’ choice of fabric, leather or PU, the fall introductions will feature some up-and-coming new features including discreet, luxurious “hotel-style” reading lights, cell phone pocket chargers located on the outside of the headboard and led lights beneath the bed rails that can be turned on for ambience or visibility at night. The beds retail range is from $999 to $1,499.

Power Seats

Combining the fashion of best-selling accent chair and club chair styles with functionality, Luxfort is introducing 4 new Power Seat styles in performance fabrics and top-grain leathers. They offer functions including 360 swivel, recline, hidden storage, cup holders, USB charging ports, reading lights and wireless charging flexible phone/tablet holders. “By adding these functions to a popular, versatile silhouette, consumers in today’s smart-phone world can now have a conference call in an accent chair, watch a video, read with the help of a reading light, charge their phone and take advantage of hidden storage and motion.” The new styles offer an understated modern look, and retail from $499 to $999.

The new styles will debut in Luxfort’s 5,000-square-foot showroom at 100 N. Main Street, High Point.
