Waynette Goodson
It’s Waynette Goodson. I’m here today with Gerry Borreggine. You’ve heard that the future is so bright that we’ve got to wear shades. Well, Gerry, I understand that that applies today because you are introducing your new line of Nyx mattresses. Tell us about that.

Gerry Borreggine
We’re really excited about it. It’s a high-end line. It’s a luxury line. Higher price points typically than Therapedic runs. We start this line at $2,499, and it goes up from there. It’s a natural line made of cotton, Jamal wool, and recycled springs. Everything about the line is really geared toward being super-natural yet super-luxurious.

Waynette Goodson
Right. And that’s a hard balance to achieve because, typically, when you hear about a luxury mattress, you don’t hear about the sustainability story. So, can you drill down a little bit more on what specifically about the bed is sustainable?

Gerry Borreggine
Everything about it is sustainable. There’s not a piece of foam in it. There’s nothing that’s polyurethane in it. It’s a naturally made product. We’re not calling it organic. It’s not made in a laboratory where we, you know, Clorox, the walls. But we’ve been really particular about trying to maintain the natural story with Nyx.

Waynette Goodson
Well, now I have a feeling. I love the hand, the top, and the ticking. It’s so soft. You’ve got these hand-tufted buttons. I love that effect. And when is this available, Gerry? As far as the timing, is it just a soft launch?

Gerry Borreggine
A full launch and all our factories are able to make it. It’s going to be available immediately after this Las Vegas market. Every one of our factories has the capability of manufacturing this line.

Waynette Goodson
Okay. And do you want to talk anything about I heard there’s a limited distribution or.

Gerry Borreggine
We will probably limit distribution once we sell retail or in a particular marketplace; we’ll take it off the market. That retailer will keep it exclusive for at least a one year period of time. After that, we’ll see what happens with Nyx. But right now, we’re going to try to keep it exclusive as well.

Waynette Goodson
Exclusive. Exclusivity. Okay. Well, so Nyx it’s named after a goddess? It is right on…

Gerry Borreggine
Goddess of Night.

Waynette Goodson
Goddess of Night. I love that. Thank you all for tuning in to this edition of Take 5. As always, have a great night’s sleep.
