LOS ANGELES (March 27, 2026) — City of Hope and the industry committee for the West Coast Golf, Tennis & Pickleball Tournament announced that event sponsorships and support are growing following a recent tour of the City of Hope campus that included this year’s honoree and guests.
The 2026 tournament and awards dinner will take place Monday, June 8 at the Coto de Caza Golf & Racquet Club in Orange County, California, honoring Javier Sanchez, president and CEO of Jonathan Louis.
Sanchez and honored guests toured the Duarte, California campus last week and met with three clinicians in their respective fields of pediatric cancers, hematology-oncology and psychiatry, Drs. Lior Goldberg, Guido Marcucci, and Xiomara Rocha-Cadman.
“As I toured the facility I came across the quote ‘There is no profit in curing the body if in the process we destroy the soul,’” said Sanchez. “Touring City of Hope and hearing the doctors speak to the work they do, I really got the sense that is not just a credo but something that is deep in everyone’s DNA who works there. The passion and compassion of the doctors and staff members made a lasting impression.”
