DeRucci North America Enters U.S. Bedding Market with AI Smart Mattress Collection at October High Point Market

NEWS RELEASE

HIGH POINT, NC — September 28, 2026 — DeRucci Healthy Sleep Co., Ltd. will officially enter the U.S. bedding market this October as its North American division, DeRucci North America, introduces a collection of AI-powered smart mattresses at the October High Point Market. The launch brings this proven technology, refined through more than eight years of production, and over 25 million recorded sleep hours to U.S. consumers.

DeRucci will show five AI sleep models in High Point, led by the debut of its premium model, the T12, a mattress that “learns” and improves a sleeper’s patterns with the company’s Dream OS operating system.

In the furniture industry, immersive sound added new features and functions to upholstered furniture and lifted the average sales ticket for retailers. DeRucci believes its AI sleep technology can do the same for a diminishing mattress category that is starving for something exciting and new, adding features and benefits that give consumers a reason to trade up, while providing a great margin opportunity for the retailer.

“We are excited to bring this proven mattress technology to the United States through strategically aligned retail partners,” said William Guy Ray, CEO of DeRucci North America. “These AI functions add real features and benefits that offer something exciting to sell and a larger ticket in a market needing something new.”

Sleep has been at the core of DeRucci since the company’s founding in 2004. Today, DeRucci operates a 5,300-store global footprint, holds a 45 percent market share of China’s premium mattress market and generates annual mattress sales of more than $850 million.

The T12 is the newest and most advanced mattress in the DeRucci collection. Powered by an AI operating system, it reflects the company’s continuing investment in sleep research and manufacturing quality. Its intelligent comfort system reads a sleeper’s patterns and adjusts throughout the night. The T12 learns how each person sleeps and refines its response across two independently controlled zones, with seven adaptive support points that respond to body pressure and sleep position, keeping the sleeper in constant spinal alignment. Warming features at the legs help promote circulation. It also features intelligent snore response when paired with the DeRucci adjustable base and shares sleep data through an app, giving sleepers a clear picture of their sleep patterns and overall health.

“We believe the T12 represents a new category in sleep,” Ray continued. “By combining intelligent technology, continuous spinal support and a truly innovative sleep system, we’ve created a mattress that actively responds to the sleeper rather than simply supporting them. Most importantly, we’re pricing this technology to challenge the way the premium mattress industry thinks about value.”

DeRucci’s entry into U.S. bedding reflects a long-term commitment to the North American market. DeRucci introduced its Vietnam-produced motion upholstery in October 2025, and pairs the resources of a global manufacturer with local sales, operations, service and customer support. DeRucci owns more than 10 million square feet of manufacturing space across China, Vietnam, and Indonesia, enough to support large-volume retail programs and growing demand.

Mattresses ship container-direct from DeRucci’s factory in Indonesia, giving retail partners the advantage of lower tariffs, and are supported by a North Carolina warehouse for expedited delivery and customer support. A High Point-based team of seasoned sales, marketing and operations executives leads the North American business, with Ray as CEO. Ray joined DeRucci last year with more than 40 years of experience in the home furnishings industry, leading businesses, developing brands and driving strategic growth.

Experience the T12 and DeRucci’s full sleep and motion upholstery collections at the company’s freestanding High Point showroom, 300 E. Green St. (corner of Green and Hamilton), October 17–21.
