Sleep products supplier Bedgear, based in Farmingdale, New York, said retailer Mattress Warehouse has expanded its Bedgear offerings and opened a Bedgear boutique at a store in Falls Church, Virginia.
There are more Bedgear departments planned for other Mattress Warehouse locations which has 240 locations in the mid-Atlantic region.
Another Bedgear customer, Art Van Furniture, based in Warren, Michigan, has 17 Bedgear-branded boutiques at Art Van PureSleep stores.
These in-store Bedgear Performance Shops enable shoppers to select sleep accessories and mattresses through a “personalized fitting experience, interactive technology displays” and product education, the company said.
“Most people don’t understand all the reasons why they fight with their pillow at night or wake up routinely. Having the experienced employees of Mattress Warehouse allows us to inspire the consumer about the value of finding products that fit,” said Eugene Alletto, chief executive officer of Bedgear.
