PureCare moves to Phoenix

Sleep accessories supplier PureCare has moved its headquarters to a new 120,000-square-foot facility in Phoenix.

The company’s former home base in Fairfield, New Jersey, was 20,000 square feet.

Jeff Bergman, president and chief operating officer, said the new facility houses management, finance, order entry, customer service, information technology, importing, logistics and a new pillow  manufacturing plant.

There also is a corporate showroom, which will allow PureCare sales executives to demonstrate to customers the full array of the company’s sleep essentials, including protectors, sheets and pillows, the company said in a news release. The new headquarters also offers state-of-the-art computer and networking systems, as well as fully modernized racking equipment that features a complete pick-and-pack inventory management system.

The new 30,000-square-foot pillow manufacturing space features computerized pillow-blowing machinery that is capable of blowing fiber, ball fiber, microfiber, shredded viscoelastic foam and latex rubber foam, as well as a combination of shredded foam and fiber, Bergman said. He said he expects the startup capacity will be about 4,000 pillows per day, but the overall production rate may grow to as many as 20,000 pillows a day.

Bergman added that the new facility has 25 office employees and 15 workers in the warehouse. The initial 15 manufacturing positions are expected to grow to 60.
