Rock Hill, South Carolina-based Springs Creative Products Group LLC and Chicago-based A. Lava & Son Co. have signed a joint sales and distributorship agreement for the former’s Firegard FR barrier line.
Under terms of the agreement, A. Lava personnel will sell Springs Creative’s FR products into new markets and accounts, with marketing and technical support provided by Springs Creative.
“We are pleased and excited to partner with A. Lava in a venture that will bring Firegard and associated products to a wider audience,” said Derick Close, chief executive officer of Springs Creative.
Adam Lava, co-owner of A. Lava, said: “With this agreement, we have a great opportunity to provide our customers (with) another industry-leading product.
“Firegard is the original flame barrier fabric, and we’re proud to bring it to our customers.”
A. Lava is a 101-year-old family-run business specializing in servicing the mattress industry with custom quilting and cut-and-sew operations.
Springs Creative is a producer and marketer of decorative and performance fabrics.
