Family-owned mattress maker Diamond Mattress has promoted two sales managers to key executive roles.
Steve Anderson has been appointed vice president of business development. In his new role, he is responsible for managing existing major accounts, developing new strategic partnerships and assisting with product innovation.
Anderson has been with Rancho Dominguez, California-based Diamond Mattress for 10 years as territory manager and key accounts representative, developing products and managing many of the company’s largest customers. Previously, Anderson was an independent factory sales representative. He also has held sales and management positions at one of Southern California’s largest retailers of furniture and bedding.
“Steve’s unique blend of retail and manufacturing expertise, along with creative thinking, enable him to be successful in collaborating with, developing and executing our customers’ needs and keeping them ahead of the curve in a fast-moving market,” said President Shaun Pennington.
In addition, Patrick Wolf has been promoted to vice president of sales and education. In his new position, he leads the sales team and spearheads the development of the company’s new education department.
Wolf joined Diamond in 2014 as sales manager and has been part of the sales team that has doubled the company’s revenue over the past four years, according to the company. He has been in the bedding industry for nearly 20 years.
“Patrick’s wealth of industry experience allows him to meet the evolving needs of our retail partners,” Pennington said. “He also has a passion for helping our customers understand the impact of a good night’s sleep, which makes him a natural fit to lead our new education department.”
