PureCare Expands Into China, Southeast Asia

Phoenix-based sleep accessories supplier PureCare has entered into agreements that will place its products in stores throughout China and Southeast Asia.

Index Living Mall, a home furnishings and decorative retail chain based in Bangkok, is featuring a customized selection of PureCare’s bed linens, mattress protectors and pillows in its 28 stores in Thailand, as well as in an additional 114 stores in Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Maldives, Myanmar, Nepal, Pakistan, the Philippines, Russia, Singapore and Vietnam.

In China, Hong Kong-based Manwah Holdings Ltd. is selling PureCare products in its 520 retail stores located throughout China. The rollout of the program included 400 of the group’s Cheers Five Star bedding specialty stores and 120 Cheers Adjustables specialty stores.

These partnerships follow PureCare’s past expansions into Australia, Canada, the Caribbean, Central America, New Zealand, Russia and the United Arab Emirates.

According to the company, the addition of Index Living Mall stores in Southeast Asia is a highly valued, significant addition to PureCare’s global network of dealers. “We could not be happier than to have Index Interfurn Group (the parent company of Index Living Mall) as our partner,” said Jeff Bergman, president and chief operating officer of PureCare. “We are both committed to a common vision of excellence in the sleep essentials category. By partnering with PureCare, Index Living Mall has embraced what we envision as a growing global movement of health and wellness in the top-of-bed category. All of these carefully selected, high-quality and distinctive PureCare bedding products will help to create a healthy sleep environment for discerning Index Living Mall customers.”

Commenting on the Manwah agreement, Bergman said the Manwah stores will feature PureCare’s protectors and Sub 0° pillow collection products. “PureCare’s top-of-bed products and Manwah’s specialized mattress and bedding departments are a perfect fit,” he said. “This is another example of our worldwide leadership in the health and wellness market through the pioneering and development of technical textiles.”
