Industry supplier Leggett & Platt Inc. announced Mitch Dolloff will assume the role chief operating officer effective Jan. 1, 2019. The post was last held by Karl Glassman, who became chief executive officer in January 2016. Dolloff also will retain his current responsibilities as president of the Specialized Products and Furniture Products business segments until a successor is named. Perry Davis, president of the Residential Products and Industrial Products segments, will report to Dolloff.
Dolloff, who joined L&P in 2000 in Mergers & Acquisitions, was named president of Specialized Products and Furniture Products in 2016 and 2017, respectively. His previous positions with the company include president of the Automotive Group, president of the Automotive Asia division, vice president and director of business development for Specialized Products, and president of the Tubular Products division.
