Mattress fabric supplier Tricots Liesse has hired Nate Cangemi as senior director of sales, Western U.S. region, and Krista Grohsman as Northeastern U.S. sales manager. Each reports to Camilla Franklin, vice president of sales and marketing for the Montreal-based company.
Cangemi has more than 15 years of industry sales experience and, most recently, was national sales manager for Muller Textiles. His background also includes sales management positions with FXI and Carpenter Co.
“I can’t wait to introduce so many of my longtime customers and friends in this industry to this exciting company,” Cangemi said. “After just a brief visit with (Camilla) I was all in. … Even though Tricots Liesse is a 50-plus-year-old company, this entrance into the U.S. ticking market represents a startup opportunity of sorts.”
Grohsman has more than a decade of sales experience in textiles and bedding.
Most recently, she was territory sales manager for Fine Cotton Factory. Previously, she held sales and marketing management roles with mattress maker Spring Time Bedding.
Franklin said: “We are thrilled to have Nate and Krista on board. In a short time, Tricots Liesse has produced hundreds of gorgeous fabrics for customers. The array of designs coupled with all the different technologies really gives us an edge, not to mention that we have the ability to service our customers more efficiently then I have ever seen before.”
