Jared Waken
Latexco U.S., headquartered in Lavonia, Georgia, has named Jared Waken as sales account manager and Khon Farris as internal sales director. Both report to Brent Limer, Latexco chief sales officer.
Waken is based at the company’s new Phoenix operation and is part of the sales team that is tasked with growing business in the Western region.
His background includes more than 15 years in the home furnishings industry. Most recently, he spent eight years with Hickory Springs as an account manager covering Western states. His focus was on the bedding segment and included sales of polyurethane foams, innersprings, adjustable bases, nonwovens and boxed-bed fulfillment. Prior to that, he worked in supply chain management and product development at luxury case goods and upholstery maker Lorts Manufacturing.
Khon Farris
Farris fills a new role for the company, focusing on servicing key accounts, supporting outside sales and doing “proactive selling, per the company’s customer-centric strategy,” according to a news release.
She has held a range of jobs in sales and customer service and spent six years as a Realtor, which allowed her to hone her customer communication skills.
Latexco U.S. bills itself as a one-stop shop for the bedding industry with a range of goods and services. With production facilities on the East Coast and the West Coast, it also is the only U.S. supplier producing latex foam and polyurethane foam under one roof.
