Warren, Michigan-based retailer Art Van teamed with Tempur Sealy International Inc., headquartered in Lexington, Kentucky, to donate 400 mattresses to residents of the Detroit area affected by torrential rains in May. The retail value of the donation was nearly $300,000.
“Each year, Tempur Sealy donates tens of thousands of mattresses to organizations and people in need and we were honored to partner with Art Van on this donation event,” said Tempur Sealy spokesman Rick Maynard. “A single mattress can change the life of someone who has lost so much due to flooding.”
