Hallett is a ticking sales veteran with more than three decades of experience with major industry suppliers. Most recently, he was vice president of sales for cut-and-sew operator A. Lava & Son Co. Prior to that, he held key sales roles with DesleeClama/Deslee Textiles USA (now part of BekaertDeslee) and the former Blumenthal Print Works Inc.

In his new position, Hallett is responsible for creating and executing the sales department’s go-to-market and operational strategies to achieve business objectives.

He joins Camilla Franklin, who led the company’s entry into the ticking segment in 2017 and previously was vice president of sales and marketing. In a lateral move, she now holds the title vice president of marketing and merchandising, while retaining some sales responsibilities.

Commenting on his new post, Hallett said: “I am thrilled to be working with Tricots Liesse. Having seen numerous mills around the world in the 30-plus years I have been in the mattress industry, Tricots Liesse brings a transformative approach to this segment. The team is wonderful to work with. We have fashion-forward designs and an outstanding technical department. Our globally diverse and experienced associates are talented, creative and quick to respond. Being a vertical operation permits us to maximize efficiencies resulting in an exceptionally high level of quality, delivery and design. Our commitment to corporate social responsibility is impressive, as well.”

Both Hallett and Franklin report to Tricots Liesse principals Claude Helwani and Abie Sterner.

“Mason is well-established in the bedding industry and is extremely innovative and a highly motivated individual,” Helwani said. “We welcome him into our corporate family and look forward to many years of success.”

Founded in 1965 as a supplier of circular knits to the apparel industry, Tricots Liesse operates a 250,000-square-foot, vertically integrated knitting, finishing and dyeing facility in Montreal.
