Mattress manufacturer and retailer Hilding Anders International, with world headquarters in Malmö, Sweden, has named Henrik Sjögren chief executive officer effective Jan. 1, 2020. He succeeds Pepyn Dinandt, CEO since 2016.
Dinandt will continue in his role as board chair, guiding the leadership team in the execution of the company’s strategic agenda, a news release said.
Sjögren is a Swedish and Danish national who joins Hilding Anders from his post as president of Essilor Group Europe. He has a 25-year consumer goods resume that includes companies such as GlaxoSmithKline, the LEGO Group and Unilever, and he brings a strong track record in branding, marketing and retail to his top role at the mattress major.
Sjögren’s experience, personality and entrepreneurial spirit, strengthen the Hilding Anders leadership team, the company said.
