Mattress licensing group Spring Air International, with headquarters in Chelsea, Massachusetts, has signed Al Mazro Group, based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, as its newest licensee. The deal gives Al Mazro the right to manufacture and distribute the Spring Air brand in Qatar. The company is a major conglomerate involved in many business sectors. It will manufacture Spring Air mattresses at its bedding plant in Qatar and sell products at its two retail bedding chains operating in the country.
With the addition of Qatar, the brand now has distribution in nearly 50 countries, a news release said.
“As demand for American brands continues to grow, it’s our mission to provide high-quality sleep products to consumers across the globe,” said Nick Bates, Spring Air International president. “Al Mazro Group operates an impressive manufacturing facility that will uphold our high standards of producing and distributing our products in the country. The leadership’s knowledge of the Qatar market gives us an advantage to grow our footprint in the Persian Gulf region.”
