St. Louis-based mattress producer Boyd Sleep has hired mattress industry veteran Vince Passanisi as vice president of sales.
Most recently, Passanisi worked as the Southeast U.S. national account manager for Resident Home. Prior to that, he served as director of sales for Ashley Sleep.
Passanisi is responsible for sales and sales training and will focus on the Nautica mattress brand for Boyd. He reports to company president Denny Boyd.
“We greatly appreciate the extensive sales and mattress industry experience that Vince brings to our team and our company,” Boyd said.
Boyd Sleep was founded in 1977 and holds more than 30 patents for its highly diversified product line. The company is “strategically focused on the health and safety of consumers and on the environmental impact of its products and processes,” according to a news release.
