Factory-direct Charles P. Rogers & Co. Inc. has earned kudos from Consumer Reports for its first boxed bed, which uses premium components such as pocket springs and 100% natural latex.

Charles P. Rogers & Co. Inc., a New York-based factory direct, introduced its first boxed bed, Real Bed. It’s available for sale online at RealBed.com and in two company stores — in the Flatiron District of Manhattan and at its factory store in East Rutherford, New Jersey. The bed features inner tufting, pocket springs and comfort layers that include natural latex, wool and organic cotton. A Real Bed mattress topper, made with microcoils and natural latex, is sold separately. In queen size, the mattress retails for $950 and the topper for $500.

“We launched the Real Bed to be a more price-accessible option for the everyday consumer, who is prioritizing sustainable, natural choices in their purchasing,” said Linda Klein, president of Charles P. Rogers. “We overcame the short shelf life of most boxed beds brands to give our customers a real, substantial mattress that achieves the superior alignment only an innerspring mattress can provide. Our mattress keeps wellness and sustainability top of mind with convenient express delivery and prices that beat the competition.”
