Industry sales veteran represents Northwest region for luxury mattress maker
NEWARK, N.J. (Jan. 25, 2021) –Shifman Mattresses has hired industry sales veteran John Lowrance to manage the Northwest territory in the continued national expansion for the luxury mattress manufacturer.
In the new role of Northwest Territory Manager, Lowrance will develop and grow retail partnerships to expand the awareness and reach of Shifman’s brand of handcrafted luxury mattresses. His extensive professional network in the Pacific Northwest region complements the company’s goal to create a national footprint, said company officials. Lowrance will report to Lisa Frey, Shifman National Sales Director.

Lowrance brings to Shifman a record of sales excellence and leadership that spans nearly 20 years. Most recently, he served Serta Simmons Bedding as Senior Territory Manager in the Portland, Ore. area, where he excelled in growing regional and independent accounts. Prior to that, he was an independent sales representative for recognized furniture and bedding brands such as Ashley Furniture, Pure Talalay Bliss and Glideaway. Lowrance began his career at Sealy and Rev Sleep.
