NORTH BRUNSWICK, N.J. – Leading mattress manufacturer Eclipse International has formed an exclusive partnership with the Iconix Brand Group Inc. to create and launch a 12-model mattress line under the well-regarded Fieldcrest moniker. The collection will include both bed-in-a-box and flat-packed mattresses.

Eclipse International will market the collection together with Iconix to a chosen group of big-box, brick-and-mortar retailers such as select department stores and mass merchants who are already invested in and have had success in marketing current Fieldcrest-branded products such as sheets, comforters, pillows, mattress pads. In addition to the new mattress line, Fieldcrest is also expanding their product offerings to now include carpeting, flooring, and other home furnishings. Retail pricing for the new mattress line will be in the middle to upper ranges, from $1,199 to $2,499 for queen sizes.
The Fieldcrest label has been on the market since 1893, when Fieldcrest Mills was founded in Spray, North Carolina. Throughout the 20th century, Fieldcrest grew to become one of the largest producers of bedroom textiles, bath towels and small home goods in the U.S. Iconix acquired the brand in 2007, and since then, the company has maintained Fieldcrest’s position as a quality name brand of textile products.
