Ergomotion Adds Willingham, Advances Peres

Mitch Willingham has joined adjustable base maker Ergomotion as vice president of global sales, replacing Gui Peres, who was promoted to president of the wellness division.

Willingham is responsible for the company’s continued sales growth and ongoing move into “the wellness technology market,” while Peres is focused on identifying new consumer segments in the wellness space and launching new solutions, according to a news release.

Willingham has 20 years of bedding industry experience in merchandising for major retailers and sales management roles with manufacturers. Most recently, he was vice president of sales with Serta Simmons Bedding LLC.

“I’m excited to have the opportunity to lead Ergomotion’s efforts with a team that continues to make significant strides in the adjustable bed base category,” Willingham said. “Ergomotion has seen some tremendous growth in the past year, and I hope to continue to build on those successes with our products and partners.”

Peres has been with Ergomotion since 2009 and has been instrumental in leading the sales team to success.

“I’m eager to drive Ergomotion forward and focus on ways to continue to elevate the brand, its products and our partners,” Peres said. “We continue to stay committed and engaged with our innovative designs, and I’m thrilled to be leading thoughtful solutions that are specifically tailored to our customers.”

Ergomotion products are sold in over 30 countries under more than 170 brand names. The company is part of Keeson Technology Corp., based in Jiaxing City, China.
