Paramount Sleep Company has named Chuck Thrift as its new director of hospitality. Thrift will oversee the company’s commercial business strategy that includes hospitality, resort, boutique hotels, interior design and special government projects.
“We’ve served the hospitality industry for many years and grown the business substantially over the last few years. We’re now looking to elevate our presence and take our commercial business to the next level,” said Richard Fleck, president of the Norfolk, Virginia-based company. “Our search for a leader with the right experience and the right fit for our company brought us to Chuck.”
With nearly 20 years of experience in the mattress and hospitality industries, Thrift has held sales positions with Serta and Thomasville/Drexel Heritage Contract Furnishings. At Tempur Sealy he served as a regional director of sales in the South and Southeast. Most recently he was vice president of sales for Distinctive Hospitality Design.
“I am bursting with excitement and anticipation,” Thrift said. “It is such a perfect time to make a commitment to the hospitality industry.”
Originally from High Point, North Carolina, Thrift resides just outside of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. In addition to spending time with his wife and three children, he coaches youth sports, is an avid golfer, and is a member of F3 Nation, a male leadership group built around fitness, fellowship and faith.
