ISPA’s 2nd sustainability-focused event offers even more opportunities to learn.

Sustain Learn Connect Innovate. ISPA Sustainability Conference Sept 13-14, 2023

Registration for the International Sleep Products Association’s Sustainability Conference is open at ISPASustainability.com/Register. You won’t want to miss it.

“If you are a sustainability professional or want to learn about sustainability developments in the bedding industry, this is the conference to attend,” said Kate Caddy, director of sustainability for ISPA. “The ISPA Sustainability Conference, plus optional in-depth workshops the day before, are your opportunities to connect with top experts and colleagues focused on sustainability in the bedding industry. The full-day conference program covers topics that will accelerate your learning and business in the year ahead.”

The event, to be held Sept. 13-14 at the Sheraton/Le Méridien Charlotte Hotel Complex in Charlotte, North Carolina, will include a number of top-notch speakers, as well as a choice between two preconference workshops that will dive deeply into sustainability topics related to the industry. Workshop attendees will leave with in-depth knowledge and the skills to implement programs in their companies. These sessions are an additional fee and will be held the afternoon of Sept. 13.

The main conference will kick off at 5:30 p.m. Sept. 13 with a welcome reception. Participants can enjoy refreshments and light fare while mingling with other attendees.

A day full of learning will follow on Sept. 14. After a networking breakfast, the opening keynote will address “Solving Sustainability Challenges: Collaborate to Build Meaningful and Creative Solutions to Reach Today’s — and Future — Sustainability Goals.”

Lunch also will provide opportunities for discussion. Facilitators will be placed at each table to help guide conversations in topics such as product design, developing a business case for sustainability, best practice sharing and legislative updates.

The goal of the conference is to provide an opportunity for professionals from across the bedding industry to gather, share information and inspire practical solutions to move forward in sustainability practices. Designed to appeal to mattress manufacturers, suppliers and retailers at any stage of the sustainability journey, the program emphasizes engagement, learning and networking.

More information on the conference — including a full conference schedule — is available at ISPASustainability.com.
