Richmond, Virginia-based Carpenter Co, the world’s largest vertically integrated manufacturer of polyurethane foams has acquired mattress and sleep accessories company Casper Sleep Inc. Casper will now operate as a subsidiary of Carpenter. According to a news release from Carpenter, the company plans to assist Casper with a comprehensive growth and profitability strategy and the appropriate future channels to market.
