ISPA members are invited to read the report and check out the new dashboard.
In August, the International Sleep Products Association released its Cost Report, based on participants’ 2023 financial results. The 65th edition of the report provides easy-to-understand guidelines for identifying business performance strengths and weaknesses and improvement opportunities.
This year’s report includes comparative performance information by sales volume and geographic region (sample sizes permitting) for all reporting U.S. firms. The report also includes a special breakout of the most profitable U.S. firms in the industry. In addition, building upon historical information from this study, key U.S. industry trend data includes interpretation and analysis. If you were unable to participate this year, you can still purchase the survey for $500. Participants can access their composite and confidential customized performance report via the survey web portal.
Coinciding with the release of the 2023 Cost Report, ISPA also released a new online portal for members to easily access statistics and reports, including the Mattress Industry Trends Report, Bedding Market Quarterly, Mattress Industry Forecast, CSIL, and Wage and Management Report.
“The new interactive dashboard offers a comprehensive overview of the U.S. wholesale mattress market with user-friendly charts and graphs,” said Mary Thorpe, manager of industry research and analytics for ISPA. “Members can easily drill down to analyze the most relevant data for them. Plus, the filters make it easier to identify trends and find information efficiently.”
The portal also links users to a new Mattress Industry Trends Report dashboard page which includes a brief video tutorial. To access the portal on the ISPA website, log in to your account (or create a new account). Then click on the My Stats button.
