MLILY Focuses on Employees and Business Continuity Following Plant Fire

NEWS RELEASE

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (August 18, 2026) – Following the fire that began Sunday at its Winnsboro, South Carolina manufacturing facility, MLILY has activated its crisis response and business continuity plan to support employees, customers, and retail partners. All personnel onsite were safely evacuated and accounted for, with no reported injuries to MLILY employees.

Local emergency officials have described the facility as a total loss, and the company continues to cooperate fully with authorities as the cause of the fire remains under investigation.

MLILY is actively implementing a comprehensive recovery strategy centered on expanding production capacity across its U.S. manufacturing network. A significant component of that plan is the rapid expansion of operations at the company’s Glendale, Arizona facility, where production is targeted to increase by approximately 50% over the next 60 days.

While assessments continue regarding the full impact to specific products and inventory, MLILY’s operations, planning, logistics, and customer service teams are working together to minimize disruption, maintain service for retail partners, and focus on restoring capacity.

“This is a significant event for our company, but we are confident in our ability to adapt and continue serving the market thanks to the strength of our manufacturing strategy. We are rapidly expanding production in Glendale, increasing capacity across our network, and taking decisive action to support our customers and retail partners. While challenges remain, our team is confident we will emerge stronger than before,” said Kyle Robertson, COO, MLILY USA.

MLILY has invested significantly in its U.S. manufacturing capabilities over the years, and the rapid expansion of production in Glendale is a key part of its recovery strategy. While this event presents significant challenges, it also underscores the adaptability of the company’s manufacturing network and the strength of the plans already being implemented, added Robertson.
