Today, at High Point Market

The editors of BedTimes and Sleep Savvy, Mary Best, Barbara Nelles and I, had a lovely day at High Point Market taking in the sights at mattress showrooms.

Among the most pleasing things we saw–I’m happy to report–were bed aesthetics. We saw some beautiful fabrics, tailoring and a continued use of fashion-forward color in mattress accessories and point-of-purchase materials.

Mattress makers are putting a lot of thought into accessories and POP. For instance, we all “got a charge” out of Simmons’ use of a mouse pad motif in its foot guards and pillow sleeves. Not only was the foot protector emblazoned with a mousepad, it was a giant mouse pad—which tied in cleverly with the company’s “Living Life Fully Charged” tag line.

We’ve posted some photos from the show on the BedTimes home page. To see more High Point Market coverage in BedTimes, check https://bedtimesmagazine.com/markets/. And stay tuned for the show video–or videos–and our High Point Market coverage in the print magazine.
