Retailer Web Services Holiday Deals Include Mattresses

Scottsdale, Arizona-based Retailer Web Services, a digital marketing and software solutions supplier to retailers of mattresses and other durable goods, deployed more than 4,000 deals and special offers to retail customers’ websites beginning in early November.

The goal was to help retailers increase e-commerce sales, while assisting consumers in staying ahead of the holiday shopping rush.

In 2015, RWS said durable goods retailers recorded their highest website traffic volume of the year during Black Friday and the weeks leading up to it.

“The lines have blurred between Black Friday and Cyber Monday,” said Jennie Gilbert, RWS chief operating officer and co-author of the book, “RE:THiNK: 11 Surprising Things to Do Now to Win Retail Customers in the Digital Age”. “This holiday season, digital consumers will shop early and from multiple mobile devices. It’s imperative that independent retailers leverage the major brands’ national campaigns and employ technology to reach prospects with visually compelling and engaging offers on the products they’re interested in buying.”

RWS is helping its retail customers do that by deploying digital deals from major manufacturers, including bedding makers Atlanta-based Serta Simmons Bedding LLC and Tempur Sealy International Inc., to accommodate the surge in mobile and desktop holiday shoppers.
