Natura World launches GreenSpring

Mattress and sleep accessories maker Natura World has introduced its first innerspring mattress, GreenSpring. The Cambridge, Ontario–based company also has launched a new Web site to promote its products for infants and children.

The foam–encased product line features individually wrapped coils made of recycled steel and layers of wool, cotton, latex and polyurethane foams with soy–based content. There are nine GreenSpring beds with three levels of zoned support.

“We saw a need in the market for coil mattresses paired with more natural components,” said Ralph Rossdeutscher, Natura World president. “GreenSpring mattresses bring the beauty of natural sleep to consumers who prefer a coil mattress.”

According to the company, the new beds are value–priced and “offer a technologically advanced pairing of natural materials and pocketed innerspring coils.”

Natura World’s newest Web site, www.naturafamily.com, is designed to be an online resource for parents. It includes detailed information about the company’s natural and organic youth bedding and sleep accessories, as well as links to organizations that certify components.

“Parents today begin shopping long before they ever go to a store—and they know what makes a product healthy or unhealthy,” said Julia Rosien, Natura World director of communications. “Our new site makes it easy for parents to see what’s inside our mattresses, bedding and pillows and make informed decisions on products that directly affect their children’s health.”

Natura World also plans to use the site to provide ideas and encouragement to parents through the “Better Bedtimes” blog.
