Mattress licensing group Englander, based in Olive Branch, Miss., has inked a licensing deal with Mattressworld Industries Sdn. Bhd. in Selangor, Malaysia. The company will manufacture and distribute Englander products to Cambodia, Malaysia, the Philippines and Vietnam. In addition to manufacturing beds, Mattressworld operates one of the largest latex foam manufacturing facilities in Southeast Asia. It’s a wholly–owned subsidiary of Lee Swee Kiat Group. “This particular deal is quite an important one for us, to have one of the largest manufacturers in the region shipping our products. In less than four years, we now have all of Southeast Asia and China covered, as well as Australia, Canada, the Middle East and Turkey,” said Englander President Kevin Toman.
