Protect-A-Bed hires for new Canada office

Mattress protection supplier Protect-A-Bed has named Marc de Grave vice president of business development for Canada. De Grave works from a newly created operation based in Guelph, Ontario. Formerly, Protect-A-Bed products were distributed in Canada through Caber Sure Fit Inc., based in Markham, Ontario.

De Grave brings extensive knowledge of the Canadian marketplace to his new post, according to the company. He is a former vice president of Caber Sure Fit and has 25 years of sales and customer relations experience in a broad range of industries, from retail to health care.

“We’re excited to have Marc’s vast experience and knowledge of the marketplace to lead this effort in Canada,” said James Bell, chief executive officer of Protect-A-Bed, which has headquarters in Wheeling, Ill.

“I am truly delighted to be part of the PAB team,” de Grave said. “Protect-A-Bed is the leader of the pack when it comes to mattress protection and their global marketing initiatives are second to none.”
