In addition to the tremendous attention the Better Sleep Council’s “Stop Sleeping Around” campaign is receiving this month in traditional and social media (ISPA members, check out this week’s ISPA Insider for all the details), the ISPA public relations team scored a big win this week on the television program “America Now” with Leeza Gibbons and Bill Rancic.

The syndicated program ran an informative four-minute segment on the why’s and how’s of shopping for a new mattress. You can watch the “America Now” segment on mattress shopping here.

The news story included sound bites from ISPA Director of Communications Karin Mahoney and lots of helpful tips for consumers on shopping for a new bed. It also emphasized key BSC messages to consumers such as the importance of reassessing the condition of their mattress every seven years and after any major life change.
