Mattress manufacturer Vi-Spring receives royal recognition

Luxury British mattress manufacturer Vi-Spring has been awarded the esteemed Queen’s Award for Excellence. The Plymouth, England-based company was recognized for “producing bespoke beds of the highest quality,” resulting in significant growth in local and overseas sales during the past six years. Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth marked Vi-Spring’s success in her “birthday honors” on April 21. The award is judged on international trade, innovation and sustainable development, and is considered the highest honor a British company can receive. “We are very proud of our product and truly delighted to be recognized by Her Majesty the Queen for our work,” said Mike Meehan, Vi-Spring managing director.
