Sleep shop chain Sleep Experts, which has 39 stores in the Dallas-Fort Worth market, has expanded into central Texas with four new stores in the Austin area.
Sleep Experts expects to open six additional stores in central Texas by year-end, the company said in a news release. It has named former District Manager Gary Melder as general manager of the Austin stores. He’s been with the company for six years.
“Gary is a great leader and will be a guiding force as we scale our operations to meet the needs of the Austin market,” said Chris Cook, Sleep Experts co-founder and chief executive officer. “As we grow our business, it is important to keep the Sleep Experts culture intact and stay true to our mission to help customers find a mattress they will love.”
The retailer, whose tag line is “Love Your Mattress,” offers a 365-day comfort guarantee and its employees go through months of training to enable them to help customers find the right bed for them.
