Sleep shop chain Sleep Train, headquartered in Sacramento, Calif., hosted its sixth annual charity golf classic on Sept. 26, raising a record $600,000 for its foster children program. The monies go toward providing foster children with the opportunity to participate in extracurricular activities, such as playing a musical instrument or attending summer camp. Among the participants in the event were representatives from mattress manufacturers Pure LatexBLISS, Sealy, Serta, Simmons and Tempur-Pedic.
