Englander president adds CEO title

Mattress licensing group Englander has named Kevin Toman chief executive officer. He continues to serve as president of the Olive Branch, Miss.-based company, a position he has held since 2007.

Commenting on the promotion, Toman said, “I am extremely pleased with the Englander board’s decision to increase my responsibilities and very happy to serve in this new capacity.”

A 42-year veteran of the bedding industry, Toman has held senior executive and sales management positions at Restonic, Sealy, Serta and Simmons. Prior to joining Englander, he taught for a year at a Massachusetts Catholic high school. Toman also is active in Catholic charities.

Englander’s brands include a full range of specialty-sleep beds as well as innerspring mattress collections.
