Market preview: Therapedic adds to Kathy Ireland collection

Mattress licensing group Therapedic, with headquarters in Princeton, N.J., is introducing four models to its Kathy Ireland Home by Therapedic collection at the Las Vegas Market Jan. 28-Feb. 1 at the World Market Center.

The beds have a stretch-knit cover with silver and blue accents and a premium five-zone innerspring with 7-inch coils. The innerspring unit is specially designed to reduce motion transfer and partner disturbance.

“Therapedic is uniquely positioned within the industry,” said Gerry Borreggine, Therapedic president and chief executive officer. “Retailers know that we are a nimble manufacturer capable of making products that blend innovation, technology and style. Our Kathy Ireland Home collection has been one of our most successful lines, and we are always looking to enhance the series to offer retailers and consumers high-quality mattresses at value prices. The added design elements in the ticking help increase ‘curb’ appeal on the showroom floor and attract more foot traffic.”

The beds all have Therapedic’s HourGlass Back Support Pad and include a range of specialty foams, latex and gel-infused foam. They have suggested retail prices from $899 to $1,399 in queen size.
